With the introduction of the MKII ruleset and the Escalation league underway, it seems only proper to create a new section dedicated to the game of Warmachine/Hordes.  It looks as if this fine game has finally grabbed a foothold in HAAWGS community as quite a few players have decided to start up their own faction armies. 

FYI - I've removed a few of the old Warmachine topics that were in there and tried to only keep the ones that had any significance to them.  Enjoy!

When : June 23rd 6:00pm - 10:00pm

I know it's short notice but I've gone ahead and set up another Madison Game night for April 29th at the Madison City Chambers.  (100 Hughes Rd. Madison, Al)

For all those interested, we'll be kicking off the challenge board system to add a little fun and variety to our games.  Soon I hope to post up some rules that we can use and get everyones feedback on them.  I should also have all the league tags cut out by then.

I'm going to be do some upgrades on the site tomorrow probably during the day depending on my workload.  If at some point you come to the main site and it's not working, try browsing to the forums by going to http://haawgs.net/index.php?action=forum  That should take you directly to the forums without going to the front page.  Otherwise, just be patient and the site will be backup as soon as I can get it upgraded.

Ok, I've got us booked for another game night but this time it's on Wednesday, March 24th. Again, it's from 6:00pm - 10:00pm at the Council Chambers in Madison.  (100 Hughes Rd.)  Let us know if you can make it. 

Also, if anyone is interested, I would like to see if we could get some type of ladder system going for these monthly meetings.  I've got both 40k and Fantasy peg boards at home that we can use to keep track of standings.  There won't be any kind of entry fee or prizes, it'll just be a "King of the Hill" type thing.  Anyone interested in something like that?

Today February 1st marks the beginning of the HAAWGS Modeling and Painting Incentive Program.  If you are not aware of what this is about, check out the link below for a description.

It's never too late to sign up.  All you need to do is create a post in the HMPIP forums with your 200pt monthly projects and give Lambobolt your $10 entry fee.  Also to kick off the incentive program, Clay (Malcavious) is going to be hosting a painting party at his place on Feb 6th. 

So get those brushes going and when you finish, be sure to post some pictures in the forums to showcase your work.  Ready..set...GO!

The Madison City courthouse that is.   On Jan 14th, HAAWGS held the first (of hopefully many) monthly get together for some group gaming.  The courtroom in Madison provided plenty of comfortable space to set up a few tables for 40k, Blood Bowl, and Space Hulk.  



It was nice to finally put a face to the many names that we see on the forums and it went a long way toward building up the local Warhammer community.  Stay tuned for the next installment coming up in February sometime.

Wade has gone through the trouble of securing a spot in the Madison City Council Chambers for this Thursday.
